Stoychev & Stoycheva Law Firm addressed the concerns of a certain part of its clients with regard to the data leak from the Bulgarian National Revenues Agency. The Firm provided an interview for Darik Radio and Bulgaria On Air TV.

Each natural person or legal entity who has been affected by the data leak may claim compensation for any damages which are caused. Due to the fact that currently it is not established by the authorities whether or not there is an infringement of the GDPR and/or of the Bulgarian legislation, we advise our clients to wait for any administrative acts by the Data Protection Commission which establish such infringement. Alternatively, a complaint may be submitted with the Data Protection Commission.
